I recently had the opportunity to stay at the President Hotel in Mumbai, and it was an experience I won’t forget. Located in the heart of the city and established in 1973, the President Hotel is the perfect location for travelers looking to experience all that Mumbai has to offer with a luxurious touch as far as their accommodation is concerned!
I was struck by the hotel’s stunning architecture and luxurious amenities the moment I arrived at this lavish hotel. The lobby was spacious and grand, with high ceilings and elegant décor. The staff was super friendly and helpful, thus making my check-in process quick and smooth.
I got a room with a view of the pool surrounded by typical tall buildings of South Bombay. The view from my window was breathtaking and I thoroughly enjoyed it while sipping some hot coffee. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a plush bed and modern amenities.

One of the highlights of my stay at the President Hotel was the food. The hotel has 6 dining options – Thai Pavilion, Trattoria, The Konkan Cafe, Herbhouse, Wink, and Qmin Shop. I had the chance to try the sumptuous Konkan thali at The Konkan Cafe as well as several authentic Italian dishes at Trattoria and I was impressed by the quality and flavor of each one of them.
In addition to the fantastic food and comfortable rooms, the President Hotel also offers a range of amenities for guests to enjoy. The fitness center is well-equipped and the pool is the perfect place to unwind after a long day exploring the city.
All in all, my stay at the President Hotel in Mumbai was nothing short of extraordinary. May it be the luxurious amenities or the friendly staff, I was thoroughly impressed and will definitely be staying there again on my next visit to the city.
